Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling, a well-established and trusted provider in Wabash, IN, is seeking a dedicated Plumbing Service Technician to join our award-winning team. As a Plumbing Service Technician, you will deliver high-quality plumbing services to residential customers, including water heater servicing, water testing, and system inspections. Responsibilities Perform plumbing maintenance and service calls for residential customers, including diagnostics and repairs. Provide accurate estimates and detailed proposals for service, repair, and replacement options. Conduct routine SCA maintenance to ensure system longevity and optimal performance. Inspect and service water, drain, and gas systems, as well as fixtures and valves. Educate customers on maintenance needs and available solutions, ensuring clear and professional communication. Document all work performed, including system details, services completed, and customer discussions. Maintain a high standard of workmanship and uphold company values in every customer interaction. Participate in ongoing training and mentorship programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and ethical standards. Maintain company-provided vehicle, equipment, and uniforms in a clean and organized manner. Support a positive work environment by fostering respect, professionalism, and teamwork. Qualifications Valid driver's license Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Professional demeanor and respect for customers and their property Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a desire for a long-term career Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation Ability to pass background, driving, and drug screening Compensation $55,000$85,000 per year (Hourly + Incentive Pay) $1,500 tool allowance for entry-level employees or $5,000 sign-on bonus for those with 2 years of experience. $10,000 sign-on bonus for Journeymen license holders!
