Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential and commercial sites. Your expertise will ensure that water systems, drainage, and plumbing infrastructure operate efficiently and safely, adhering to local building codes and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling to new construction, utilizing your technical skills and customer service abilities to deliver top-quality results. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, and fixtures in industrial and commercial buildings. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras to accurately diagnose issues and perform repairs. Conduct drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages and ensure proper flow within plumbing systems. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to execute precise installations or repairs aligned with project plans. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, materials, and personnel between job sites while adhering to traffic laws. Perform plumbing system inspections to identify potential issues early and recommend appropriate maintenance or repairs. Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and integrating new fixtures into existing systems. Adhere strictly to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices during all phases of work. Collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure project success while providing excellent customer service. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly. Skills Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of residential and commercial systems. Proficiency in welding techniques for pipe joining or repairs when necessary. Skilled in drain cleaning methods using specialized equipment for efficient blockage removal. Familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, pliers, and screwdrivers; experience with power tools including drills and saws. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately. Knowledge of local building codes related to plumbing installation and repair practices. Experience operating plumbing inspection cameras for diagnosing hidden issues within pipes. Strong understanding of water systems management including supply lines, valves, pumps, and fixtures. Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks typical on construction sites. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about work performed or needed. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Handyman experience or background in remodeling projects is a plus for versatile job performance.
