Posting Information Posting Information Position Title Plumber Job Duties The Journeyman Plumber Technician performs journey-level work in the installation, maintenance, inspection, modification, remodel and repair of mechanical plumbing equipment and fixtures for water, gas, oil, sewage, fire sprinkler/prevention, and perform related work as required. Assists other departments in Facilities Management when requested by supervisor. Maintains a professional attitude towards all employees, staff and stakeholders. B. Ability to do trade related mathematics. C. Must be able to accurately follow verbal and written instructions. D. Make diagnostic decisions based on education, experience and instrument readiness. E. Ability to climb, stoop, bend and work in awkward positions. F. Cannot be afraid of heights. G. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. H. Can work indoors and outdoors. I. Ability to use computer word processing, spreadsheets, and email. J. Willing to work overtime and weekends in emergencies. Required experience A. Be working licensed journeyman with a minimum of 2 years' experience. B. Documented job related training. C. Must possess a valid driver's license Required educational background A. High School diploma or its equivalent. B. Must possess knowledge and experience in various skilled trades. C. City Plumbing license preferred.
