Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations while delivering exceptional service to clients. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and construction plans Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure precise installation and repairs Perform pipe threading, pipe installation, welding, and assembly of plumbing components using hand tools and power tools Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with building codes Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work within project timelines while adhering to safety regulations Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, blockages, or damage; troubleshoot issues efficiently using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations Requirements Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a valid license or certification demonstrating completion of apprenticeship programs Extensive construction site experience with residential, commercial, or industrial plumbing projects Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building regulations, and safety regulations related to construction plumbing Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and mechanical diagrams accurately Proficiency with hand tools such as pipe wrenches, threaders, saws; power tools including drills and grinders; welding equipment; and HVAC tools as needed Experience working with gas piping systems and performing pipe threading or pipe installation tasks Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations Excellent customer service skills for interacting professionally with clients on-site or during service calls Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physical tasks required on construction sites including heavy lifting and carpentry tasks Valid driver's license for commercial driving if required for site travel or material transport Additional handyman experience or remodeling background is a plus for versatile project support Join us if you're ready to bring your plumbing expertise into a vibrant environment where safety is paramount, craftsmanship is valued, and your skills help build lasting infrastructure!
