Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations efficiently. Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Perform routine maintenance and repair of plumbing systems to prevent issues and extend system longevity. Collaborate with construction teams on remodeling projects or new builds, supporting carpentry and HVAC integration when needed. Conduct heavy lifting safely during pipe installation or system assembly while following proper safety protocols. Requirements Proven construction site experience with a strong background in residential or commercial plumbing projects. Valid journeyman plumber license or equivalent certification demonstrating comprehensive plumbing knowledge. Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding construction plans. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and gas piping systems. Knowledge of local building codes related to plumbing systems and mechanical installations. Ability to perform basic math calculations essential for measurements and material estimations.
