Job Description

Aroso Plumbing Lawrence is looking for motivated, dependable individuals interested in building a career in residential plumbing. We're open to applicants who are already enrolled in a plumbing apprenticeship program, currently working toward their plumbing license, or looking to get started in the trade. We're looking for someone with some general work experience, a basic understanding of plumbing or related hands-on work, and a genuine willingness to learn. Previous plumbing experience is preferred, but we're more interested in finding someone who takes initiative, works hard, learns quickly, and wants to improve over time. The more residential plumbing experience you have, the better. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who wants to develop practical skills, gain exposure to residential service work, and build a long-term career in the plumbing industry. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. What You'll Do Assist with residential plumbing service calls and projects appropriate to your experience and qualifications. Travel to customer locations using your own reliable transportation. Learn how to identify common residential plumbing problems and understand appropriate repair solutions. Assist with plumbing repairs, fixture replacements, leak repairs, water heaters, and other residential plumbing tasks. Develop practical skills through hands-on experience and guidance from qualified plumbing professionals, as applicable. Help prepare tools, organize materials, and keep job sites clean and professional. Learn how to communicate professionally with homeowners. Develop your understanding of residential plumbing systems, troubleshooting, and service work. Take feedback seriously and apply what you learn to improve your performance. Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and a willingness to take on additional responsibility as your skills develop. All work must remain within your qualifications and applicable Massachusetts licensing and supervision requirements. What We're Looking For At least 18 years old. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Some general work experience, preferably in plumbing, construction, maintenance, mechanical work, or another hands-on field. An interest in residential plumbing and a genuine desire to learn the trade. A strong work ethic and willingness to work with your hands. Dependability, punctuality, and professional communication. Ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, and learn from experience. Initiative and a problem-solving mindset. Full-time availability and willingness to accommodate on-call work as required by the agreed-upon schedule. You do not need to be a licensed plumber to apply. We're open to candidates who are already registered apprentices, individuals looking to begin an apprenticeship, and people with related hands-on experience who want to transition into plumbing. Having your own basic tools is beneficial, and previous plumbing experience will strengthen your application. However, attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter just as much as experience. What We Provide We're looking for someone who wants to learn, improve, and grow with us. Aroso Plumbing Lawrence is building a growing residential plumbing operation and generating customer opportunities throughout our service area. We're interested in finding someone who wants more than a temporary job. The right person will have the opportunity to gain exposure to real residential plumbing situations, develop practical knowledge, and build experience over time. We value people who ask questions, pay attention to detail, take responsibility for their work, and actively look for ways to improve. As you gain experience and demonstrate reliability, there may be opportunities to take on more responsibility and develop your residential plumbing skills further. Formal apprenticeship registration, educational arrangements, and supervision will depend on the agreed-upon position and applicable requirements. Compensation Compensation will depend on the position, experience, responsibilities, and agreed-upon employment arrangement. Applicants with existing plumbing experience may qualify for different compensation than those entering the trade for the first time. Details will be discussed with qualified candidates before work begins. Who Should Apply? This opportunity may be a good fit if you: Are currently pursuing a plumbing apprenticeship or want to start one. Have some plumbing, construction, maintenance, or other hands-on work experience. Want to develop practical residential plumbing skills. Are motivated to build a career in a skilled trade. Have reliable transportation and can commit to full-time work. Are dependable, coachable, and willing to put in the effort to improve. We're not expecting you to know everything on day one. We are looking for someone who shows up consistently, takes the opportunity seriously, and wants to become more capable over time. We're looking forward to meeting motivated individuals who want to develop their skills and build a future in residential plumbing with Aroso Plumbing Lawrence.
