In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, code requirements, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to remodeling and maintenance, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver top-quality results. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites and in existing buildings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations efficiently. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and maintenance logs. Skills Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards. Proficiency in welding, pipe threading, and working with various hand tools and power tools. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately. Knowledge of HVAC systems, remodeling processes, and general maintenance practices. Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience working on construction sites with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Familiarity with carpentry techniques relevant to plumbing installations; handyman experience is a plus. Strong field service skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently on-site. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is desirable for transporting materials or equipment.
