Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber / Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing and mechanical systems across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have experience with plumbing, boilers, water heaters, heating systems, and HVAC equipment , along with the ability to diagnose problems and perform quality installations and repairs. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, waste systems, fixtures, and piping in residential and commercial settings. Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain boilers, water heaters, heating systems, and related mechanical equipment . Perform installation and service work on HVAC systems, including mini-splits and other heating and cooling equipment . Diagnose mechanical and plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair or replacement solutions. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, testing equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras. Perform drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages and ensure proper drainage. Perform boiler and heating system maintenance, including troubleshooting pumps, controls, piping, and related components. Install and service gas and hydronic heating systems , where applicable. Install and service tank and tankless water heaters , including associated piping, valves, and connections. Assist with HVAC installations, including equipment placement, refrigerant line sets, condensate piping, and related components. Perform plumbing and mechanical system inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions. Assist with remodeling and new construction projects by installing plumbing, heating, HVAC equipment, fixtures, piping, and related components while following applicable building codes. Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools and materials to various job sites. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required while maintaining proper safety standards. Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow company safety procedures. Provide excellent customer service by clearly explaining repairs, recommendations, and completed work to customers. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing, mechanical, heating, or HVAC installation and service . Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing, construction plumbing, remodeling, and mechanical systems. Experience with boilers, water heaters, heating systems, and HVAC equipment . Experience with hydronic heating systems, pumps, controls, and mechanical piping is preferred. HVAC experience, including mini-split systems, condensate piping, and refrigerant line installation , is highly desirable. Skilled in welding, pipe threading, soldering, brazing, and using plumbing and mechanical tools. Experience using plumbing inspection cameras and drain-cleaning equipment. Familiarity with local plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, gas, and building codes and regulations. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and plumbing systems and identify the source of problems. Experience operating hand tools, power tools, heavy-duty equipment, and company vehicles safely. Strong understanding of water supply, drainage, heating, and mechanical systems. Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge related to boilers, water heaters, HVAC equipment, and mechanical controls is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements, pipe sizing, calculations, and installations. Handyman or general construction experience is highly desirable. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving materials and equipment. Why Join Us? Pay:
