Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Licensed Journeyman Plumber and take pride in delivering top-tier plumbing solutions for a variety of residential and commercial projects. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in accordance with local building codes and safety regulations. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, and safety regulations. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and other mechanical devices to complete installations efficiently. Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on existing plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC systems. Conduct system inspections to identify issues related to leaks, blockages, or code violations; perform necessary repairs or replacements promptly. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and compliance reports. Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to safety protocols; operate construction vehicles if required. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about project status and maintenance needs. Qualifications Valid license as a Journeyman Plumber with proven experience in construction plumbing projects. Extensive knowledge of plumbing system installation, repair, and maintenance within residential and commercial environments. Strong understanding of plumbing building codes, local building codes, gas piping systems, and safety regulations. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and basic math calculations. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on heavy lifting and safety compliance. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and general building maintenance is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Valid driver's license for commercial driving if required; familiarity with construction site logistics preferred.
