Overview Join our dynamic team as a Journeyman Plumber and take pride in delivering top-tier plumbing solutions across residential and commercial projects. As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure building code compliance, safety standards, and customer satisfaction are always met. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilize your mechanical knowledge, and contribute to high-quality infrastructure development. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings, following blueprints, schematics, and construction plans. Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate pipe installation and system setup. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install piping systems including gas piping and HVAC components. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with local building codes. Adhere to safety regulations during all phases of work, including heavy lifting, working at heights, or in confined spaces. Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and quality standards. Document work progress accurately and report any issues or discrepancies promptly to supervisors. Requirements Proven construction experience with a strong background in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance. Valid journeyman plumber license or equivalent certification demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations. Experience with welding, pipe threading, gas piping systems, and schematics reading is essential. Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and construction site protocols. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC components is a plus. Excellent customer service skills for interacting professionally with clients during service calls or project work. Valid driver's license for commercial driving or field service travel as required. Carpentry or handyman experience is advantageous for remodeling or assembly tasks.
