Job Description
Job Summary Putman Plumbing is looking for an experienced Residential Plumbing Service Technician who is goal oriented and takes pride in their craft. This position is focused on residential service, repair, diagnosis and replacement. You'll work directly with homeowners to identify plumbing problems, explain solutions clearly, and complete quality repairs that you can stand behind. We're looking for more than technical ability. We want someone who is personable, driven to succeed and respects the integrity of the trade. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair residential plumbing problems Service and replace water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, disposals and other plumbing equipment Repair and replace water, waste and drainage piping Diagnose drain and sewer problems and perform drain cleaning when necessary Use sewer cameras and other diagnostic equipment Identify additional plumbing concerns and clearly explain available solutions to homeowners Clearly and professionally communicate with homeowners regarding issues within their home and provide customers with repair and replacement options and costs Complete work according to applicable plumbing codes and Putman Plumbing standards Maintain accurate job documentation Keep your service vehicle, tools and equipment clean and organized Communicate with our office and field team throughout the workday Deliver a professional customer experience from the moment you arrive until the job is complete What We're Looking For Residential plumbing service experience required (Journeyman) Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Working knowledge of plumbing systems and applicable codes Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with homeowners Quality workmanship and attention to detail Dependable, organized and accountable Comfortable using modern plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to perform the physical requirements of residential plumbing service work Open to drug testing and background checks What You Can Expect From Putman Plumbing We believe technicians perform at their best when they're given the right environment to succeed.
