Plumber Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with water systems and maritime plumbing, particularly within navy shipyard environments. This role involves ensuring the integrity and functionality of plumbing infrastructure on ships and maritime facilities, contributing to safe and efficient operations. Duties Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to water systems, including leaks, blockages, and system failures. Install, modify, and upgrade plumbing fixtures and piping in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications. Conduct repairs on water supply lines, drainage systems, and associated components on navy ships or maritime facilities. Follow safety protocols strictly while working in maritime environments to prevent accidents or damage. Collaborate with shipyard personnel and other trades to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with maritime regulations. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and system conditions for reporting purposes. Experience Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and repair, preferably within maritime or navy shipyard settings. Familiarity with plumbing systems specific to water supply, drainage, and maritime environments. Knowledge of safety standards related to working on ships or in shipyard facilities. Ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues efficiently and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
