Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plumbing building codes, blueprint reading, and construction site experience. This position offers an opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a dynamic environment while ensuring safety and compliance standards are met consistently. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local building codes and project specifications. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to execute precise pipe layouts. Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly using hand tools and power tools efficiently. Install gas piping systems safely following all safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing installation within larger building projects. Adhere to safety regulations during all phases of work, including heavy lifting and working at heights. Use welding techniques where necessary for pipe joining or repairs. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used for project records. Support remodeling, renovation, or handyman tasks as needed on various construction sites. Skills Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans. Strong knowledge of plumbing building codes, local regulations, and safety standards. Experience with welding, pipe threading, pipe installation, and mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems. Familiarity with HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing integration. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices within the construction environment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting. Pay:
$40.07 - $45.23 per hour
