Job Description

We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team! We are a busy local plumbing company. Service Technicians earn commsion on service calls!
Responsibilities:
Clean drains in commercial and residential buildings Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment Perform routine preventative maintenance Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Prepare and keep records of actions taken, including maintenance and repair work. Measure excavation sites, using plumbers' snakes, tapelines, or lengths of cutting heads within sewers, and mark areas for digging Communicate with supervisors and other workers, using wireless phones,radio telephones. Locate problems, using specially designed equipment, and mark where digging must occur to Operate sewer cleaning equipment, including power rodders, high-velocity water jets, sewer flushers. Drive trucks to transport crews, materials, and equipment. Removes roots, debris, and other refuse from clogged sewer lines and drains, using portable electric sewer cleaning machine, and repairs breaks in underground piping: Positions or disassembles sewer trap machine at sewer or drain outlet. Starts machine to feed revolving cable into opening, stopping machine and changing knives as necessary to conform to diameter or contour of pipe. Observes residue for evidence of mud, indicating broken sewer line. Removes and replaces broken tile section or pipe, using caulking compound and cement to form watertight joint. May estimate cost of service to customer.
Qualifications:
No experience necessary, we will train! Good driving record Must pass drug test upon hire Ability to handle physical workload CDL is a plus Must have Michigan Driver's License with in 30 days of employment

$16.00 - $30.00 per hour
