Full Job Description Overview:
Medxcel is here to lead the transformation of healthcare facilities management by incorporating a new approach to providing services. Created by healthcare, for healthcare, we have a dedicated focus on our people and customers, as well as providing tools, processes, support resources, data analytics and insource strategies that drive results. The Plumber III is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal in the facility. The Plumber III works in cooperation with other trades and laborers to ensure that all specifications, legislation and policies are met, and to ensure efficient completion of any project. Providing adequate services will ensure that all water supply networks, waste systems and drainage systems are installed, repaired and maintained to meet all standards of building codes and safety. The Plumber III leads training for new associates and serves as a Subject Matter Expert to facilities stakeholders. The Plumber III also leads larger scale projects as assigned. This position is located at Henry Ford Main Hospital- Detroit, MI.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems and components- 60% Diagnoses cause of problems and/or failures in water systems to identify equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs.
- 40% Participates in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars, as assigned to convey and/or gather information required to perform job functions.
Qualifications:
Required:
Master Plumber License- reuired. 5 years' relevant experience
- required. Active Driver's License
