Job Description
Naugle Heating & Plumbing — Tecumseh, Michigan Naugle Heating & Plumbing is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a dependable professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with customers, and can independently complete residential and light-commercial plumbing work. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and install residential and light-commercial plumbing systems. Service water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, sump pumps, water lines, drain lines, and related equipment. Perform plumbing remodels, replacements, and new installations. Identify plumbing issues and clearly explain recommended solutions and pricing to customers. Complete work safely and in accordance with Michigan plumbing codes. Maintain accurate job notes, photographs, material records, and customer documentation. Keep the assigned company vehicle, tools, and work areas clean and organized. Assist with training apprentices and plumbing helpers. Coordinate with Naugle's HVAC and electrical teams when projects involve multiple trades. Participate in the rotating on-call schedule when required. Deliver a professional, respectful customer experience on every call. Qualifications Michigan Journeyman Plumber license in good standing. Relevant residential service and installation experience. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and safety requirements. Ability to work independently and manage jobs efficiently. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in crawlspaces and confined areas. Experience with tankless water heaters, drain service, or light-commercial plumbing is a plus. Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Company-provided service vehicle.
