Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately install or repair plumbing systems. Perform construction estimating for plumbing projects by assessing site requirements, materials needed, and labor costs to support project planning. Install, maintain, and repair domestic water systems, heavy-duty piping, commercial plumbing fixtures, and HVAC-related components. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, and construction regulatory standards through thorough building code analysis. Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and carpentry skills to execute complex plumbing tasks efficiently. Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality, troubleshoot issues on the field, and perform routine maintenance on existing plumbing systems. Manage construction plans and schematics effectively while maintaining safety protocols during heavy lifting or remodeling activities. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about project progress or system maintenance needs. Supervise field service operations including pipe threading, system testing, repairs, and system upgrades while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Qualifications Valid license as a Master Plumber with comprehensive knowledge of plumbing building codes and local regulations. Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong background in residential and commercial projects. Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings (schematics), and analyzing building code compliance requirements. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and other mechanical tools necessary for plumbing work. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple tasks such as estimating costs or overseeing construction plans. Knowledge of HVAC systems and familiarity with construction site safety protocols are highly desirable. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and project managers in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces safely.
