Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Master Plumber to lead and execute plumbing projects across residential and commercial construction sites. In this vital role, you will oversee plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair activities, ensuring all work complies with local building codes and safety standards. Your expertise will drive the successful completion of construction plumbing systems, manage teams of plumbers and apprentices, and uphold the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Lead and manage plumbing teams on construction sites, coordinating tasks to ensure timely project completion Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide installation processes Perform construction estimating for plumbing systems, including material takeoffs and cost assessments Install, repair, and maintain domestic water systems, sewer lines, and other plumbing infrastructure in residential and commercial buildings Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, and construction regulatory compliance standards Conduct building code analysis to verify that plumbing installations meet safety and quality requirements Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and heavy lifting to complete complex plumbing tasks efficiently Manage plumbing system maintenance schedules and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime Supervise field service activities, manage plumbing teams' performance, and provide mentorship for junior staff Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise installation or repair work Perform remodeling or handyman tasks related to plumbing systems as needed Ensure proper use of construction site safety protocols during all activities Requirements Valid Master Plumber license with extensive experience in construction plumbing projects Proven background in construction site experience with residential and commercial plumbing systems Strong knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building codes, and building code compliance standards Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and building code analysis Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, HVAC systems knowledge is a plus Experience managing plumbing teams or supervising field service crews effectively Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to estimating materials and costs Mechanical knowledge related to domestic water systems, sewer lines, HVAC integration, and system maintenance Excellent customer service skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance Valid driver's license for commercial driving or site travel as required Physical ability for heavy lifting, working at heights or confined spaces as needed for construction tasks Join our team as a Licensed Master Plumber where your expertise will shape the foundation of safe and efficient plumbing systems across diverse projects.
