What You'll Do Install and replace residential sewer and drain lines Perform sewer excavations and underground plumbing work Install cleanouts, sewer mains, water service lines, and drain piping Repair or replace cast iron, PVC, SDR, and Schedule 40 piping Assist with excavation, trenching, and site restoration Safely operate or assist with mini excavators, skid steers, trenching equipment, and other job site tools Read measurements and ensure proper pipe pitch and drainage Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Communicate professionally with homeowners and teammates What We're Looking For 2+ years of residential underground plumbing/sewer installation experience preferred. Experience installing 2,3,4,6,8" sewer lines, water services, and underground drainage systems. Experience with excavation and trenching around residential properties. Ability to properly grade and slope sewer lines. Experience working with PVC, SDR, HDPE, PEX, and other underground piping. Experience with sewer repairs, replacements, tie-ins, and water-line installations. Ability to identify existing underground utilities and work safely around them. Experience with trench safety, shoring, trench boxes, and proper excavation practices. Ability to install and properly compact stone/backfill. Experience working around driveways, sidewalks, landscaping, and roadways. Ability to perform sewer/water connections at the home and municipal connection points. Comfortable working in crawl spaces, basements, trenches, and confined areas. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate and maintain company equipment. Strong communication skills with homeowners, technicians, inspectors, and other contractors.
