Job Description

Licensed Master Plumber - Commercial New Construction Peerbolt's Inc., a fourth-generation, family-owned mechanical contracting company serving West Michigan since 1946, is seeking an experienced Licensed Master Plumber to lead and grow our commercial plumbing capabilities. This is a hands-on leadership position combining commercial new-construction fieldwork, employee training and development, and project estimating. The right candidate will enjoy working alongside the field team while also helping plan, estimate, and oversee successful plumbing projects. Responsibilities Lead and perform commercial and industrial new-construction plumbing installations Oversee underground, rough-in, fixture installation, trim-out, and equipment connections Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and applicable plumbing codes Train, mentor, and provide technical support to plumbers and apprentices Prepare project estimates, material takeoffs, labor projections, and scopes of work Review supplier and subcontractor pricing and assist with project proposals Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and jobsite activities Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades Maintain high standards for workmanship, safety, scheduling, and code compliance Assist with change-order pricing and project documentation Help establish effective plumbing procedures and support the continued growth of our team Qualifications Current Michigan Master Plumber license in good standing is required At least seven years of plumbing experience, including strong commercial new-construction experience Previous foreman, supervisory, or field-leadership experience Plumbing estimating and takeoff experience is strongly preferred Thorough understanding of Michigan plumbing codes and permitting requirements Ability to read plans, specifications, schedules, and construction documents Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Comfortable dividing time between field leadership, employee training, and estimating Valid driver's license and dependable driving record Commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and customer service What Peerbolt's Offers Highly competitive compensation based on experience Health and dental insurance Stable, year-round commercial and industrial work A respected, established company with an 80-year history in West Michigan A leadership role with meaningful input into the growth of our operations A supportive, family-owned company culture Opportunities for continued professional growth and advancement This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Master Plumber who wants to remain involved in the field while taking on a larger leadership, training, and estimating role.
