Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems are safe, efficient, and compliant with all codes and standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites and commercial properties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning in accordance with project specifications Requirements Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with extensive construction site experience Valid journeyman plumbing license or ability to obtain if individual is a training apprentice or certification as required by local regulations Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques, schematics, and mechanical systems Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and schematics reading Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout tasks Familiarity with remodeling projects, maintenance work, and handyman tasks is a plus Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is desirable for site access or material transport purposes Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality assurance Join our team as a Journeyman Plumber to bring your expertise into exciting construction projects!
