Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drain Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for problem-solving in plumbing systems. Mostly floor drains and sink or drinking fountain repairs. As a Drain Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving drainage issues, ensuring efficient operation of plumbing systems, and providing exceptional service to our clients. Duties Inspect and diagnose drainage systems to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions. Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform repairs, installations, and maintenance on plumbing systems. Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing blueprints and layouts and configurations. Execute pipe threading and construction plumbing tasks as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs. Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing or related fields is preferred. Fixing clogged sinks or toilets is a big plus! Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience in carpentry or maintenance person services is a plus. Ability to read schematics and perform pipe threading tasks efficiently. A strong and safe work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
