In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on commercial construction sites. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems. Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to coordinate project tasks. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems during various phases of construction to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to plumbing and related mechanical systems. Lift heavy materials safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols on the construction site. Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields with a strong understanding of plumbing systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques. Knowledge of HVAC systems and general mechanical principles is a plus. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces for extended periods. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for site transportation needs.
