Job Description

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Experienced Plumber who excels not only in technical skills but also in sales and customer relationship building. In this role, you will diagnose plumbing issues, present solutions, and help customers make informed decisions driving revenue while delivering top-tier service. Key Responsibilities Diagnose plumbing issues and present multiple solution options to customers Educate customers on repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance Provide upfront, flat-rate pricing and confidently close sales Meet or exceed individual sales and service performance goals Perform high-quality plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance Build trust with customers through professionalism and clear communication Identify opportunities for system upgrades, replacements, and memberships Maintain detailed records of jobs, estimates, and customer interactions Represent Mr. Rooter Plumbing with integrity and a customer-first mindset Qualifications 3+ years of plumbing experience, preferably in residential service Proven ability to upsell services and close sales Valid plumbing license a plus Excellent communication and customer service abilities Comfortable discussing pricing and financing options with customers Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Ability to pass background check and drug screening (if required) Preferred Skills Experience in residential and commercial service plumbing Experience with flat-rate pricing models Sales training or background in commission-based roles Drain cleaning, sewer line, and water heater expertise Experience with Service Titan preferred Strong sales or customer education skills Compensation & Incentives Competitive pay plus commission Performance bonuses and spiffs High earning potential for top performers Paid vacation Advancement opportunities Company-provided Uniforms, work vehicle, equipment and tools Flexible scheduling and work-life balance Ongoing training and career advancement opportunities Paid training focused on both technical and sales skills Supportive team environment within a nationally recognized brand What Success Looks Like Consistently meeting or exceeding average ticket and conversion goals High customer satisfaction and repeat business Ability to turn service calls into long-term customer relationships Strong contribution to team revenue and growth About Mr. Rooter Plumbing Mr. Rooter Plumbing is part of the Neighborly family of home service brands, known for delivering reliable, courteous, and professional plumbing services.
