Job Description
About the Position As a Plumber / Trenchless Pipe Rehabilitation Technician, you will work as part of a field team performing residential and commercial sewer rehabilitation projects. You will use specialized equipment to inspect, clean, prepare, and rehabilitate existing sewer and drain piping. This position combines traditional plumbing knowledge with specialized trenchless technology. The ideal candidate is someone who: Has a strong plumbing foundation Enjoys hands-on, mechanical work Is comfortable learning specialized equipment and procedures Takes pride in quality workmanship Can work independently while also being a strong team member Is dependable, professional, and willing to learn ResponsibilitiesSewer & Plumbing Work Perform plumbing-related work involving sewer and drain piping Inspect and evaluate existing sewer and drain systems Assist with diagnosing pipe damage, deterioration, blockages, and other issues Perform plumbing repairs and related field work as needed Assist with residential and commercial sewer rehabilitation projects CCTV Inspection & Diagnostics Operate CCTV sewer inspection cameras and related equipment Inspect interior conditions of existing piping Identify blockages, cracks, breaks, root intrusion, deterioration, and other pipe defects Document pipe conditions and communicate findings to customers and team members Pipe Cleaning & Preparation Operate hydro-jetting and other specialized pipe-cleaning equipment Perform descaling and cleaning of existing sewer lines Prepare piping for the CIPP lining process Operate and maintain specialized rehabilitation equipment CIPP Pipe Lining Assist with the installation of cured-in-place pipe liners Prepare equipment and materials for lining installations Follow established installation procedures and quality-control requirements Assist with cutting, reinstatement, and finishing work following liner installation Learn and apply Next Level Pipe Lining's installation procedures and standards Job-Site & Customer Responsibilities Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and job-site materials Follow company safety procedures and job-site requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, plumbers, and team members Represent Next Level Pipe Lining professionally at every job site Travel to job sites throughout the Charlotte area and surrounding markets Be willing to travel for projects as business needs require QualificationsRequired Valid driver's license Good driving record Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the shop/job site Ability to work in physically demanding environments Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to work in crawl spaces, basements, and other confined or restricted areas Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Professional attitude and communication skills Willingness to learn specialized equipment and techniques Preferred Residential or commercial plumbing experience Experience with sewer and drain systems Experience with sewer camera inspections Experience with hydro-jetting Experience with drain cleaning or descaling Experience operating construction or plumbing equipment Previous trenchless pipe rehabilitation or CIPP experience Plumbing-related certifications or training No previous pipelining experience is required. Training & Career DevelopmentNew to Pipelining? That's Okay. You don't need previous CIPP or trenchless pipe rehabilitation experience to be successful in this position. If you have a solid plumbing foundation and the right attitude, we will train you on our specialized equipment, procedures, and pipe rehabilitation techniques. The technician must be able to: Lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials Work on your feet for extended periods Bend, kneel, crawl, climb, and work in various positions Work in crawl spaces, basements, and confined or restricted areas Work around sewer lines, wastewater, and job-site conditions Work indoors and outdoors Work in varying weather conditions Safely operate and handle job-specific equipment Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday Typical daytime schedule Occasional overtime, weekend work, or overnight travel may be required depending on project requirements Compensation Pay will range based on plumbing experience, qualifications, and field experience.
