Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Plumbing Assistant. Work is currently in Henderson, Buncombe and Transylvania County. In this role, you will support our licensed plumber on new construction builds and residential/commercial repairs. Responsibilities Assist with pipe installation, fitting, and assembly using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building codes to support plumbing system installation and maintenance Support the installation of plumbing systems in accordance with safety protocols and building regulations Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing systems Ensure all work complies with safety standards, including power tool safety and site-specific safety protocols Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot plumbing issues and assist with system repairs or upgrades Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored after use Requirements Previous plumbing experience Hands-on experience with construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, and pipe installation Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety protocols related to construction sites Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety standards Join us if you're eager to build your career in the plumbing industry! Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 42.0 per weekBenefits:
