- not required but experience preferred Priority Plumbing Contractors is hiring a Plumber Helper in the Fuquay-Varina/ Angier area.
Summary:
Assists with the installation of plumbing pipe, valves, fittings, and fixtures in homes contracted with the company. Works in a variety of construction areas under constant direction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following-Other duties may be assigned: Holds, positions, and read tape measurement to assist Places and moves equipment and material Assists and transports co-workers with materials, tools and supplies as needed. Ability to safely and effectively operate all tools and equipment required for repair and maintenance Ability to follow directions. Performs other related duties as assigned. Perform other routine duties. Positions and turns clamps- screws, bolts, and hammers parts together; uses tools and equipment properly and only if instructed.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old and have valid driver license Must provide own transportation to the company office. Drug free Understand and follow oral and written instructions. Willingness to learn. Strong work ethic. Ability to establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships Resourceful, self-motivation, and honesty./ Respectful to clients, managers/owners, coworkers, equipment and properties. Able to work as part of a team or individually Must constantly protect the interests of the company and promote its success. Must become knowledgeable and have the ability to safely operate hand and power Be able to read and understand a tape measure.Physical Capabilities:
Must be able to lift heavy equipment- pipes, water heaters, toilets, etc.
