Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Plumbing Install Helper and be a vital part of bringing essential plumbing systems to life! This energetic role offers hands-on experience supporting skilled plumbers in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across diverse construction sites. You'll learn valuable trade skills, work with a variety of tools and technical drawings, and contribute to building safe, efficient, and code-compliant plumbing solutions. Responsibilities Assist experienced plumbers with pipe installation, fitting, and assembly using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment Support the setup and organization of construction sites to ensure safety protocol adherence and efficient workflow Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building codes to help ensure proper plumbing system installation Handle basic math calculations required for measuring pipe lengths and fitting specifications Maintain cleanliness of tools and work areas while ensuring all safety procedures are followed during power tool operation and welding tasks Support the inspection, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems to ensure they meet building code standards Help with the use of mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting plumbing issues on-site Experience Construction experience or background in construction plumbing is highly preferred Familiarity with welding, pipe threading, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and pipe installation techniques Knowledge of building codes related to plumbing systems and safety protocols on construction sites Previous handyman or maintenance experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential Ability to work effectively in team environments on busy construction sites while maintaining safety standards Basic math skills for measurements and calculations relevant to plumbing tasks This role offers a fantastic pathway into the skilled trades industry with opportunities for growth.
