Job Description
Overview Join our team at Blackwell and Sons Plumbing. We are a family-owned and operated plumbing company based in WNC. Duties Perform comprehensive plumbing inspections using plumbing inspection cameras and interpret technical drawings to diagnose issues accurately. Repair and maintain residential plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drain lines, fixtures, and water heaters. Conduct drain cleaning using specialized tools and techniques to clear blockages efficiently. Operate power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely to assemble, install, or repair plumbing components. Adhere to local building codes and safety regulations during all installation and repair activities. Assist with remodeling projects by installing new plumbing fixtures or reconfiguring existing systems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction with every job performed. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on residential plumbing or related fields such as remodeling or handyman work. Skilled in plumbing diagnostics. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, and welding equipment. Knowledge of construction site practices, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding local building codes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair including water systems, drainage, and fixture installation. Valid driver's license with experience operating a company vehicle is required.
