Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Plumber to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of large-scale construction projects. As a Commercial Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing infrastructure meets safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Duties Install, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems in commercial construction sites, including piping, fixtures, and drainage systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to assemble and install plumbing components. Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, HVAC specialists, and project managers to coordinate work efforts efficiently. Conduct inspections on plumbing installations to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for pipe installation and remodeling projects. Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to plumbing systems and implement effective solutions promptly. Requirements Proven experience in construction plumbing within commercial or large-scale projects. Strong knowledge of construction site safety protocols and building codes related to plumbing. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and schematics reading. Mechanical aptitude with understanding HVAC systems and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience with carpentry or handyman skills is a plus for remodeling or assembly tasks. Valid commercial driver's license preferred for site access or material transportation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
