Alvin Howell Plumbing is a small, locally owned plumbing company looking for an experienced plumber to join our team. We're looking for someone who knows the plumbing trade, takes pride in their work, and is dependable and professional with customers and coworkers. What We're Looking For Previous professional plumbing experience required Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and professional Takes pride in quality workmanship Strong communication and customer-service skills Willingness to learn and grow with the company Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties, including water supply, drainage, and plumbing fixtures Use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently Perform drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages Conduct plumbing system inspections to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions Assist with remodeling projects by installing fixtures, new piping, and modifying existing plumbing systems Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans when needed Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety requirements, and company policies Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications Proven experience working as a plumber in residential or commercial settings Skilled in plumbing installation, repair, remodeling, and troubleshooting Proficient with common hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Strong customer-service skills and the ability to clearly explain work to customers Basic math skills for measurements and plumbing calculations Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment and work in various positions, including bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces Valid driver's license required with acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate a company vehicle Compensation & Benefits $25
