Position Overview:

We are seeking a plumbing technician to perform a variety of residential and commercial plumbing services, including installation, repair, maintenance, and diagnostics. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently while also being part of a team. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, good communication, and a commitment to providing quality workmanship on every job.

Candidates should be experienced with:

Building rapport with customers Asking questions to understand the customer's needs Explaining diagnostics and recommendations Presenting multiple repair and replacement options when appropriate Answering questions about the recommended work Handling customer concerns professionally Helping customers make informed decisions about their homes and businesses Asking for the opportunity to complete the recommended work without using high-pressure sales tactics

Qualifications:

Valid Drivers License and clean insurable driving record Able to pass a drug test and background check 5 or more years of residential and commercial plumbing experience Flat Rate Quoting and Sales Experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills Ability to safely lift equipment and perform physical work required of the position Strong attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members Willingness to learn and continue developing your plumbing, sales, and customer service skills A positive attitude and dependable work ethic Job Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems Perform plumbing installations, repairs, replacements, and maintenance Perform drain cleaning and diagnostics for long term solutions Locate and diagnose leaks and water line issues Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively Explain plumbing issues, recommended repairs, and options clearly to customers Provide professional, courteous customer service at every job Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow company procedures, plumbing codes, and safety standards Complete job documentation accurately and efficiently Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and contractors Protect customers homes and property while performing work Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
