This is not an entry-level position. The right candidate will have at least three years of residential service plumbing experience and be comfortable managing service calls from diagnosis through completion. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential plumbing problems Troubleshoot plumbing systems independently Perform drain cleaning and clear clogged drain lines Repair and replace faucets, fixtures, toilets, disposals, and shutoff valves Diagnose and repair water leaks Replace traditional and tankless water heaters Install and service water filtration and water-softening systems Perform pressure-reducing valve and expansion-tank replacements Present repair and replacement options clearly to homeowners Provide accurate estimates before beginning work Maintain complete service records, job notes, and photographs Keep the assigned service vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked Follow all applicable plumbing codes and company safety standards Deliver professional, respectful service in customers' homes Participate in limited on-call or after-hours coverage as scheduled Minimum Qualifications At least three years of residential service plumbing experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with drain cleaning, water-heater replacement, plumbing repairs, and water-filtration systems Ability to communicate repair options and recommendations clearly Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to pass applicable background and drug-screening requirements Ability to safely lift and carry plumbing equipment and materials Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet to document service calls Preferred Qualifications Experience with tankless water heaters Experience with sewer and drain cameras Experience with hydro-jetting equipment Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field-service software What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Consistent, year-round work Company-provided service vehicle Company-provided tools and equipment Paid training and professional-development opportunities Support from an established HVAC and plumbing operation Opportunities for advancement as our plumbing division grows Benefits and paid time off based on company eligibility requirements About NC Quality Air NC Quality Air is a growing home-services company serving homeowners throughout the Wilmington area.
