Duties Assist experienced plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing systems. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install pipes and fixtures. Support the setup and teardown of plumbing components during remodeling or renovation projects. Conduct basic measurements and calculations to ensure accurate installation aligned with project specifications. Maintain safety standards by adhering to construction site protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance tasks. Qualifications Enthusiastic about pursuing a career in construction plumbing with a strong interest in mechanical systems. Prior experience or familiarity with construction site environments is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, welding, pipe threading, and schematics is advantageous. Ability to read simple blueprints or technical drawings is a plus. Good physical condition with the ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and work at heights or in confined spaces. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and installation.
