Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems meet all safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to remodeling and repair, while contributing to safe and efficient building operations. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and drainage in accordance with local building codes and construction plans Read blueprints and schematics accurately to execute plumbing layouts and system designs Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively on various construction sites Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and project managers to coordinate installation activities Follow safety regulations diligently while performing heavy lifting, working at heights, or in confined spaces Inspect plumbing work for quality assurance and compliance with building code standards Skills Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair Strong knowledge of plumbing building codes, local regulations, and safety standards Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems including gas piping systems and HVAC integration Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or project stakeholders Experience with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), remodeling projects, and field service environments Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting procedures Carpentry or handyman experience is a plus for versatile project support Join us as a Journeyman Plumber to build safer communities through expert craftsmanship!
