Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will ensure that all plumbing systems are installed and functioning properly. This is a commission paid job. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various construction environments. Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide timely solutions. Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes while performing plumbing tasks. Assist in remodeling projects by installing new plumbing fixtures and systems as needed. Skills Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods on construction sites. Experience with hand tools commonly used in plumbing work. Knowledge of basic math principles for accurate measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations. Ability to plumb effectively while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship. Familiarity with remodeling processes related to plumbing systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills for diagnosing issues in existing plumbing systems.
