Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings, including water supply lines, drain lines, fixtures, and appliances. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently. Perform drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages and prevent future backups. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repair work. Conduct plumbing system inspections to identify potential problems early and recommend appropriate solutions. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, materials, and personnel to job sites while adhering to local driving laws. Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspection reports for quality assurance and compliance purposes. Assist with remodeling projects or construction site tasks that require plumbing expertise or handyman skills. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, working at heights, welding (where applicable), and handling hazardous materials. Communicate clearly with clients about project scope, progress, and any additional work needed to ensure high customer satisfaction. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing systems in residential or commercial environments. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and plumbing inspection cameras. Knowledge of construction plumbing techniques including pipe installation, remodeling, assembly, and system maintenance. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations governing plumbing installations and repairs. Mechanical knowledge related to water systems, drainage solutions, and plumbing system troubleshooting. Experience interpreting technical drawings or schematics for accurate project execution. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance throughout the workday. Prior experience operating company vehicles or commercial driving credentials preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Handyman experience or general construction site experience is a plus for versatile project support.
