What You'll Do We are seeking a Firestop Field Service Technician to perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance of firestopping systems. This role supports life safety compliance while working independently in customer facilities.

Responsibilities include:

Inspect and repair firestopping systems per NFPA, IBC, and UL standards Perform minor repairs to wall assemblies Read and interpret Life Safety Plans and construction drawings Document inspection results and repairs using tablet-based reporting Maintain tools, equipment, and clean, safe job sites Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams Support multiple service lines and travel between job sites What We're Looking For Experience in firestopping, or life safety systems Construction, drywall finish and hanging, caulking Ability to read Life Safety Plans (LSPs) and work independently in facilities Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office tools Self-motivated and dependable with strong customer service skills Willingness to support multiple service lines and travel locally Who We Are REMEDI8® is a national leader in passive fire protection and compliance solutions for healthcare and commercial facilities.
