Senior Service Plumbing & Hydronic TechnicianThe Hamptons, NY | Full-Time | Year-Round We are an established residential plumbing and heating company specializing in the service, maintenance, and installation of mechanical systems in some of the Hamptons' finest homes. We're seeking an experienced Service Plumbing & Hydronic Technician who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys solving complex mechanical problems, and values professionalism above all else. Our technicians are trusted to work independently in high-end occupied residences where quality, attention to detail, and customer service are paramount. This is not a production shop. We believe in diagnosing systems properly, fixing them correctly the first time, and standing behind our work. Compensation $35.00-$45.00 per hour , based on experience Full-time, year-round position 40-hour work week Overtime opportunities available Benefits Health insurance Paid holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) Retirement plan Company-issued iPad Clearly defined rotating emergency on-call schedule Ongoing manufacturer training and professional development Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential plumbing and hydronic heating systems Service boilers, indirect water heaters, water heaters, circulators, expansion tanks, mixing valves, fixtures, and domestic water systems Troubleshoot electrical controls and mechanical components using wiring diagrams, technical documentation, and manufacturer resources Work directly with manufacturers' technical support when advanced diagnostics are required Perform preventative maintenance while identifying opportunities to improve system performance and reliability Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings clearly to both management and homeowners Deliver clean, organized, and professional workmanship on every service call Qualifications Minimum 5 years of residential plumbing service experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Working knowledge of residential plumbing, hydronic heating, and domestic hot water systems Understanding of New York plumbing code and industry best practices Comfortable reading technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation literature Fluent in English with excellent communication skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently Preferred Experience Experience with manufacturers such as Navien, Weil-McLain, Lochinvar, Viessmann, Buderus, Taco, Grundfos, and similar residential mechanical systems is highly preferred.
