$32.365-$35.96 per hr.

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (All days and hours subject to change)

Full Time Job Description:
Plan and perform a large variety of difficult plumbing work.
Education and Experience:
Advanced knowledge of the plumbing trade equivalent to complete accredited apprentice training. At least two years additional practical experience. Valid drivers license; ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions. Must provide own hand tools, including pipe, sink and cresent wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, vice grips, etc.
Skills and Knowledge:
A valid
NSPF CPO
certification. An advanced knowledge of DI and RO lab water systems. A valid NYS drivers license is required; the ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles is mandatory
Responsibilities:
Follow established PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) procedures. Drill holes in walls and floors for pipe installation. Install pipe hangers and insulate piping. Exercise some judgement and discretion to disconnect and connect electrical leads on hot water tanks and stills for replacement. Exercise judgement working within established procedures encompassing Asbestos, PCB guidelines. Follow established Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space and aerial lifts procedures. Do planned layout work. Exercise independent judgement to estimate materials, costs, and time and personnel requirements. Install and repair showers, bathroom fixtures, laboratory plumbing, sewer, gas, air and vacuum lines; hot and cold-water tanks; sewer, water and sump pumps; etc. Install and maintain air and ground water sprinkler systems. Perform necessary work that is required to seal joints properly. Perform necessary Pool, SPA maintenance and testing. Perform necessary maintenance and installation of DI, RO laboratory systems. Perform necessary maintenance and testing on Backflow preventers
