Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including water supply lines, drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems, and fixtures using hand tools, power tools, and construction experience. Conduct plumbing inspections utilizing cameras and other diagnostic tools to identify issues within pipes and water systems. Perform drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages efficiently. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, materials, and equipment to job sites. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Assist with remodeling projects by assembling fixtures or components and performing general handyman tasks as needed. Use welding techniques for specialized repairs or pipe fabrication when required. Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues and improve system longevity. Heavy lifting of materials and equipment is often necessary; proper safety procedures must be followed at all times. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on residential plumbing projects. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras. Knowledge of construction site experience including remodeling or new installations. Familiarity with local building codes related to residential plumbing systems. Experience interpreting technical drawings or blueprints for accurate installation or repair work. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency on busy job sites. Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with homeowners while explaining work processes clearly. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred; ability to operate company vehicles responsibly is essential.
