Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Journeyman Plumber and bring your expertise in plumbing systems to life! As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems while adhering to safety regulations and construction plans. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will help us deliver reliable solutions that meet client expectations and industry standards. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping, and HVAC components on construction sites and in existing buildings. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts according to local building codes. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to complete installations efficiently and safely. Conduct system inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs on plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation. Follow safety regulations rigorously during all phases of construction and maintenance work; participate in safety meetings and hazard assessments. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met on time and within scope. Assist with remodeling projects, pipe threading, heavy lifting, carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations, and general handyman duties as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing and residential or commercial projects. Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local regulations, schematics, and construction plans. Skilled in pipe installation, pipe threading, welding techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical schematics related to plumbing systems. Familiarity with gas piping systems, HVAC components, maintenance procedures, and system repair techniques. Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety regulations; ability to lift heavy materials safely. Valid driver's license for commercial driving duties; experience with construction site mobility is a plus. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills for field service interactions.
