Generator Natural Gas/Propane Plumber We are seeking an experienced Natural Gas / Propane Plumber to join our team in Canfield, Ohio. Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and modify natural gas and propane piping systems (black iron, CSST, copper where permitted) Perform gas system start-ups, shutdowns, conversions (where qualified), and equipment connections Troubleshoot gas leaks, pressure issues, ignition problems, and appliance performance concerns Conduct pressure tests, leak checks, and system verification in accordance with code and company standards Read and interpret plans, piping schematics, equipment manuals, and job specifications Install or replace regulators, valves, sediment traps/drip legs, venting components, and related fittings Document work completed, materials used, and service notes; collect jobsite photos as needed Coordinate with dispatch/office, project managers, and other trades to keep projects on schedule Maintain a clean, safe work environment following PPE and lockout/tagout practice Provide professional customer service and educate clients on safe system operation
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on plumbing experience with natural gas and/or propane systems Knowledge of applicable codes (local/state requirements;
NFPA 54/58
familiarity is a plus) Ability to run pipe, size lines, set equipment, and complete testing/commissioning tasks Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work outdoors year-round Professional communication skills and a team-oriented approach Nice to
Have Skills:
Ohio plumbing license or ability to obtain one Relevant gas-fitting credentials Experience with generators, boilers, unit heaters, make-up air, commercial kitchen equipment, or gas fireplaces Experience with service software, job documentation, and customer-facing service work
Preferred Education and Experience:
Relevant technical training or certifications in plumbing or gas fitting
