Job Description

About the Role AA Plumbing is looking for a motivated, dependable New Construction Plumber or Technician to join our commercial and residential plumbing company. If water runs through it, we do it! Job Description This position is ideal for an experienced plumber who has experience in new construction and wants to take their plumbing career to the next level. This position focuses on plumbing installation throughout all phases of new construction, from groundwork and rough-in through finish and final completion . You'll read plans, install plumbing systems, coordinate with other trades, and ensure every project meets code, quality, and company standards. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works safely, communicates professionally, and wants to continue developing their skills. Responsibilities Perform plumbing installation throughout all phases of new construction Complete groundwork, underground plumbing, rough-in, and finish plumbing Install water supply, waste, drainage, and vent piping Install and connect plumbing fixtures and equipment Install and connect valves, fittings, cleanouts, drains, and other plumbing components Cut, assemble, fit, and secure pipe and tubing according to plans and specifications Work with materials including PVC, CPVC, PEX, copper, cast iron, and other applicable piping systems Perform pressure testing and other required system testing Identify and correct installation issues before walls, ceilings, and finishes are completed Perform punch-list work and final corrections Assist with troubleshooting and resolving construction-related plumbing issues Ensure installations meet applicable plumbing codes, project specifications, and AA Plumbing quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing plans, and specifications Follow layouts, elevations, dimensions, and fixture locations Coordinate work with general contractors and other trades Communicate conflicts, changes, and job-site issues promptly Work efficiently to meet project schedules without sacrificing quality Our goal is to help you become a plumber who understands the entire system—not just the part underneath the ground.
You will be expected to:
Keep your service van clean, organized, stocked, and professional Maintain an organized system for tools, parts, materials, and equipment Conduct routine vehicle inspections Report mechanical problems or maintenance needs promptly Maintain appropriate inventory and notify management when supplies need to be replenished Properly operate, maintain, and store company tools and equipment Take responsibility for the condition of equipment assigned to you Keep trailers and equipment clean, organized, and properly secured A company gas card will be provided for authorized business use.
Employees are expected to:
Use the gas card only for authorized company vehicles and business purposes Follow AA Plumbing's fuel-card procedures Maintain required receipts or documentation Report lost or malfunctioning cards immediately Never misuse company fuel or vehicle resources The person in this position must understand that doing the job safely is part of doing the job correctly.
You will be expected to:
Follow all AA Plumbing safety policies and procedures Follow applicable OSHA requirements Properly use required PPE Identify and communicate potential hazards before work begins Follow utility-locate requirements and safely work around existing utilities Inspect equipment before operation Operate machinery only when properly trained and authorized Maintain safe distances from utilities, structures, equipment, and personnel Properly secure sites and equipment Immediately report injuries, accidents, property damage, unsafe conditions, or equipment failures Never take shortcuts that compromise safety, quality, or the customer Great customer service is important to us.

Treat every customer's property with respect Communicate professionally and respectfully Explain work clearly when speaking with customers Protect landscaping, flooring, driveways, structures, and personal property Maintain a clean and professional work area Wear the required uniform in clean and good condition Represent AA Plumbing positively while wearing the company uniform Conduct themselves professionally whether on a job site, in a company vehicle, or in the community Qualifications Previous plumbing experience in new construction Ability to read and follow plumbing plans and layouts Knowledge of plumbing installation practices Ability to safely operate job-site equipment Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and clean driving history Comfortable working outdoors and in varying conditions Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, as required for the role. High School Diploma or GED Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and working in confined spaces Willingness to follow safety procedures and company standards Knowledge of Ohio plumbing codes (preferred) What success looks like It's the person who: Shows up when they say they will Takes ownership of their work Learns from mistakes Works safely even when no one is watching Keeps their truck and equipment organized Takes care of company property Communicates when there is a problem Asks questions when they don't know the answer Takes pride in their craftsmanship Why Join AA Plumbing? Probationary Period:
90 days and completion of a successful performance evaluation.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
