Gutridge is a leading construction and service company offering Plumbing, Mechanical, Fire Protection, and Electrical services to customers in the greater central Ohio marketplace. As a Plumbing Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, installing, and repairing equipment as needed for each service call. This position also requires participation in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours and emergency service needs. What Will You Be Earning?
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. Compensation is determined by hiring managers and is based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, and the specific demands of the role. What Are We Looking For? Provide courteous, professional customer service and address client questions. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install plumbing systems in compliance with applicable codes. Work with various piping materials (PVC, ABS, CPVC, copper, cast iron, steel, stainless) using approved joining methods (gluing, soldering, brazing, Pro-Press, threaded, Victaulic). Complete accurate, legible work orders documenting labor, materials, equipment, and service details. Operate, maintain, and clean tools and equipment; report repair needs and inventory shortages. Maintain an organized, safe work environment and follow all company safety and vehicle policies. Effectively plan, prioritize, and manage workload. What Do We Want To See? High school diploma required; completion of or enrollment in a recognized apprenticeship program is considered an asset. OSHA 10 or 30 certification is desirable. Ability to obtain medical gas certification is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of plumbing industry experience; commercial service experience is highly valued. DOT and Backflow certifications are considered an asset. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Working knowledge of computers, tablets, and smartphones required.
