Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure that water systems operate efficiently and safely, adhering to all local building codes and safety standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures. Use hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading equipment, and other specialized tools to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct drain cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure unobstructed water flow. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately execute plumbing projects. Perform remodeling and assembly work related to plumbing fixtures and systems on construction sites. Operate company vehicles safely for transportation to job sites while adhering to commercial driving regulations. Inspect plumbing systems regularly for leaks, corrosion, or other issues; perform system maintenance and repairs as needed. Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations; document inspections and repairs thoroughly. Utilize plumbing system maintenance techniques such as pipe threading, welding, and the use of plumbing inspection cameras for diagnostics. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about project progress and maintenance needs. Assist with heavy lifting of materials or equipment on-site; maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance. Proficiency in welding, drain cleaning methods, pipe threading, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems along with construction site experience. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics accurately. Familiarity with local building codes related to plumbing installation and repair. Experience operating plumbing inspection cameras for diagnostics purposes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting; comfortable working in physically demanding environments. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing projects.
