Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential homes, commercial buildings, and new construction sites using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of plumbing systems. Comply with local building codes, plumbing building codes, and safety regulations during all phases of work. Work with gas piping systems, HVAC components, and mechanical systems to ensure proper operation and safety standards are met. Perform pipe installation, pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks while managing heavy lifting requirements safely. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with construction teams, project managers, and clients to deliver projects on time while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Skills Extensive construction site experience with residential plumbing, commercial plumbing, and new construction projects. Strong knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques along with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and schematics related to plumbing systems. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and carpentry basics for installation tasks. Familiarity with local building codes, plumbing codes, gas piping regulations, and safety regulations governing construction sites. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and experience working with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members alike. Valid commercial driving license preferred for site travel; experience with heavy lifting and field service operations is a plus.
