Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential and commercial projects. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and HVAC components in residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing installations. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete plumbing tasks efficiently. Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, and safety regulations while maintaining compliance with mechanical knowledge standards. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems to prevent failures and ensure optimal operation. Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and integrating new systems into existing structures. Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks safely during construction site activities while following safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing, residential plumbing, and commercial plumbing projects. Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques along with experience working on construction sites. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and schematics accurately. Familiarity with building code compliance related to plumbing systems including local building codes. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and other mechanical devices. Experience with gas piping systems, pipe installation methods, HVAC integration, and MRO (Maintenance Repair Operations). Mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills for field service interactions. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of safety regulations on-site. Valid driver's license for commercial driving if required; handyman experience or remodeling background is a plus.
