Field Service Team Lead — Union Plumber Northwest Mechanical Group (NWMG) Canby, OR | Field-Based — Oregon & SW Washington Full-Time | $65-$75/hour About the Role Northwest Mechanical Group is looking for an experienced Union Plumber (UA Local 290) ready to take the next step into a Field Service Team Lead position. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll continue working in the field while helping coach, motivate, and support a small plumbing team. You'll work closely with the Field Service Manager to maintain NWMG's standards for quality, safety, communication, and client service. The role combines technician responsibilities with day-to-day coaching and safety oversight. What You'll Do Perform hands-on plumbing/service work while modeling NWMG standards. Coach and motivate assigned technicians, share technical knowledge, conduct regular check-ins, and identify training opportunities. Perform quality checks through ride-alongs, troubleshooting, and site inspections. Deliver a consistent, highly communicative client experience from work orders through quotes. Accurately document service and maintenance work. Resolve client and field issues alongside the Field Service Manager and support team. Lead by example on safety and address unsafe conditions or non-compliance. Support onboarding of new technicians and help build long-term client relationships. What We're Looking For Union Plumber — UA Local 290 Oregon Plumbing License WA Plumbing License Preferred Valid driver's license OSHA 10 certification Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening Ability to provide proof of U.S. employment eligibility Leadership experience or 5+ years of related trade experience preferred Strong communication and client-service skills Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and basic web-based toolsPay & Benefits $65-$75 per hour UA Local 290 Foreman Rate; final compensation based on applicable union scale and experience.
