Journeyman Plumber/ Division Lead Freedom Turns LLC Portland, OR Job Details Part-time | Contract $45 - $55 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Journeyman Plumber Full Job Description Journeyman Plumber / Plumbing Division Lead Freedom Turns LLC is looking for an experienced Oregon Journeyman Plumber to work with us on a per-job basis while we build and grow a new plumbing division. This is an opportunity for someone interested in getting involved at the beginning and potentially growing into a full-time leadership position as our plumbing workload increases. Position This will initially be a part-time/per-job position rather than guaranteed full-time employment. Plumbing jobs will be scheduled as they come in, with compensation agreed upon based on the scope of each job. Our goal is to steadily build our plumbing customer base and eventually transition the right person into a consistent position helping lead the plumbing division. We are looking for someone who understands that we're building this operation from the ground up and wants the opportunity to grow with it. Work May Include Residential plumbing service and repair Plumbing troubleshooting and diagnostics Toilet, faucet, sink and fixture installation Garbage disposals Water heaters Shutoff valves and supply lines Kitchen and bathroom remodel plumbing Drain and waste piping Repiping and plumbing alterations Other residential plumbing installations and repairs Permit/code-compliant plumbing work What We're Looking For Current Oregon Journeyman Plumber license Strong residential plumbing experience Knowledge of Oregon plumbing code Ability to independently diagnose and complete jobs Reliable transportation Professional appearance and customer communication Dependability and good workmanship Someone interested in helping build a plumbing operation, not simply picking up occasional jobs Experience estimating plumbing work, managing jobs, supervising other plumbers, or operating a service plumbing business is a major plus. Long-Term Opportunity Our intention is to grow plumbing into a dedicated division of Freedom Turns LLC. As the workload increases, we plan to add additional plumbing personnel, service vehicles, equipment and a consistent service schedule. For the right person, this creates the opportunity to move from per-job plumbing work into a regular position and potentially become our Plumbing Division Lead as the operation grows. We're looking for someone who wants to have a hand in building that division from the beginning. Compensation Per-job compensation to start. Pay will be discussed and agreed upon before each project based on the scope and complexity of the work. As plumbing volume becomes consistent, we are open to transitioning the position into a regular hourly or salaried role with additional performance incentives.
